Low Noise Series
This family of low noise amplifiers includes standard models in all the
most common communication bands. However, because of the modular approach used by
Microwave Power in all its amplifiers, most customer requests, both in these and in other
bands, can be generally satisfied by using different combinations of available
"building blocks". This list of models is therefore far from exhaustive. These
amplifiers typically use GaAs HEMTs in the input stages and GaAs FETs in the output
stages. By optimizing the mix of the two types of devices, the amplifier performance can
be tailored to the needs of the customer. In particular, unusually high power output can
be achieved in combination with a remarkably low noise.
